Post n.10

This week we finished the powerpoint presentation for Unit 1. This presentation is about the different ways in which ICT can help to overcome communication barriers.
For Unit 2 we still had to finish the presentation about the components in a computer.
For Unit 3 I started the task on the decision support system (DSS), Management Information system (MIS), Executive Information systems (EIS), Data Warehousing (DW).
For Unit 8 I worked on the task about the network features and services and explained them.
For Unit 18 & 20 I finished task 6 and sent it to the tutor.
And for Unit 21 we continued our introduction with dreamweaver.

This week for Unit 1 we started our work on the powerpoint presentation in which we have to explain what are the different ways that ICT can help to overcome communication barriers.
For Unit 2 everyone had to finish the task on the different components in a computer. Mine is finished.
For Unit 3 I finished all the tasks about the 4 different acts and on how they affect the hotel.
For Unit 6 I finished the correction on the spreadsheet. I had to add another chart thats shows us the total profit/losses made by the ccompany.
For Unit 8 I started the task in which I have to describe some network features and services such as the IM and email.
For Unit 18 & 20 we worked on task 6. In task 6 we have to explain if an operating system is or is not event driven.
And for Unit 21 we started to learn and practice some functions of dreamwaever. We can create website and use the CSS with dreamweaver.

Post n.8

This week we worked on Unit 8 and Unit3.
For Unit 8 we had to finish our task on the communication protocols.
And for Unit 3 we had to finish the reports on the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act, Privacy and electronic communication Act, Computer Misuse Act.
In this report we had to explain what those acts are and how they affect the hotel.
